The Tampa-based casual restaurant chain Outback Steakhouse has announced the first of its kind promotion plan of distributing 1 million steak dinners.

This promotion was announced on Wednesday night at 9.01 pm and those who are interested need to register at  http://www.greataussiesteakout.com/ which will redirect you to the page http://www.outbackfreesteaks.com/

The dinner is a 6-ounce Outback Special Sirloin Steak and side dish. Those who register at the site will get the coupon for the free steak dinner at their home after their address is registered with the U.S. Postal Department. Each household will get only one invitation.

The site received high traffic immediately after the commercial was aired on the televisions and cable TV networks.

Some Twitter users reported successful registration. This promotion on TV networks of Outback Steakhouse is for their new Wood-Fire Grill menu selections, many priced at $12.99.
